EcoDC is Hanoi Telecom’s premier data center, strategically located on a 4.47-hectare green Data center in the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, west of Hanoi. It stands as a national benchmark for operational excellence, being Vietnam’s first facility to receive dual Uptime Institute Tier III certifications for both Design and Construction. This high standard ensures superior reliability and resilience for all hosted services.
Physical Infrastructure and Capacity
The facility is housed in a five-story building, encompassing 3,000 square meters of space. It is designed to host a significant capacity of up to 900 racks in two phases. The structural integrity is robust, with a raised alloy floor supporting up to 1,000 kg/m², meeting TIA-942 standards and facilitating efficient cable management.
Power and Backup Systems
EcoDC is equipped with a highly resilient power infrastructure. Each rack is supported by a 1+1 UPS configuration, guaranteeing over 30 minutes of backup power at full load. The primary power assurance comes from two robust diesel generators, rated at 1,850 kVA / 1,480 kW, ensuring uninterrupted operations even during extended grid outages. The total power capacity listed for Hanoi Telecom's network across Vietnam is 21.65 MW.
Cooling and Environmental Control
Cooling stability is maintained through an N+1 in-row air conditioning system. This configuration provides redundancy and delivers stable temperature and humidity control right at the rack level. This precise environmental management is crucial for the longevity and performance of sensitive IT equipment. Across its Vietnam locations, the network boasts 1,778 Tons of Cooling capacity.
Connectivity and Ecosystem
Connectivity is a key strength of EcoDC, which offers carrier-neutral services and is integrated with a vast ecosystem through over 200 Points of Presence (PoPs). The facility supports diverse fiber entrances, intra-building cross connects, and offers a variety of cabinet and space options, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites.
