The FPT FORNIX Data Center is a purpose-built, dedicated facility located in the Cau Giay District of Ha Noi. Operational since 2020, it consists of 8 floors with a total area of 1,221 m² and supports up to 1,250 racks. The data center offers various tenancy options including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suite Footprints, featuring 1,200 m² of fully built-out whitespace.
Power and Cooling Systems
Designed and operated in accordance with UPTIME Tier III standards, the facility ensures high availability through a fully redundant power and cooling infrastructure. The electrical system includes 2N redundant UPS capable of delivering 15 minutes of full-load backup, complemented by an N+1 generator setup. Each standard 42U rack supports a power density of 12 kVA or higher with dual power feeds. Precision cooling maintains temperatures at 22°C ± 2°C and relative humidity between 40–50%, using an N+2 redundancy configuration.
Fire Protection and Security
FORNIX Data Center employs advanced fire protection mechanisms, including FM200 fire suppression and VESDA early smoke detection systems. Security is reinforced through six layers of physical access control, 24/7 CCTV monitoring, and round-the-clock onsite security personnel. The facility holds multiple certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 27017, and DSS PCI compliance.
Connectivity and Interconnection
Connectivity is highly reliable, supported by two meet-me rooms and dual independent transmission paths. The data center connects directly to the FPT Vietnam backbone, offering 4 Tbps of total bandwidth through gateways in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Additional capacity includes 2,000 Gbps of domestic peering and 1,445 Gbps of international bandwidth via undersea and land-based cables. Direct connections to major global cloud service providers are also available.
