East Telecom (ETC Xpeed Yunusabad)

East Telecom, in partnership with Korea Telecom, has officially launched its flagship data center in the Yunusabad district of Tashkent, marking a significant milestone for Uzbekistan's digital infrastructure. This purpose-built, four-story facility became operational in 2024. Spanning 6,000 square meters, it is designed to house over 300 high-performance server racks, establishing a new central hub for the country's growing digital demands.

Advanced Technical Specifications

The data center is engineered to meet rigorous Tier III standards, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance. This design features fully redundant power and cooling systems, allowing for maintenance without service interruption. The facility is also equipped with advanced fire suppression systems and 24/7 monitoring to guarantee the safety and security of all hosted equipment.

Power, Connectivity, and Capacity

A dedicated substation ensures an uninterrupted power supply to the facility, which has a fully built-out power capacity of 2 MW. This robust power infrastructure supports high-density computing needs. Furthermore, the center offers low-latency connectivity, providing clients with efficient and high-speed links to major cloud providers and enterprise networks.

Comprehensive Colocation and Managed Services

As a multi-tenant facility, the data center offers a wide range of colocation services. Clients can select from shared rackspace, partial or full cabinets, secure cages, and private suites, allowing businesses to host their own equipment within a secure environment. Beyond colocation, East Telecom provides managed IT services, including network support, cybersecurity solutions, and "remote hands" support, tailored for clients ranging from startups to large financial institutions.

Strategic Shift and Future Expansion

This launch represents East Telecom’s significant shift toward supporting widespread digital transformation. The company is already leveraging this momentum, with plans underway for a second data center to be built near Tashkent. This move is part of a broader regional strategy that includes expansion into neighboring markets, specifically Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
