The Intergate.Columbia Data center is situated on a sprawling 30 acres of land in the heart of Washington State. Phase I of the development is a substantial 438,000 square foot data center, purpose-built to accommodate both single and multi-tenant customers. This construction phase, which began in April 2008 and was completed by December 2008, proudly includes buildings that achieved both Gold and Platinum LEED certified status, highlighting a commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly design.
Power Infrastructure and Capacity
A key feature of the Data center is the reliable power supply, ensured by a dedicated power substation shared among the data center buildings, which guarantees an uninterrupted power flow. The current Live Power capacity is 14 MW. Once fully built out, the facility is planned to reach a massive 70 MW of total power. Furthermore, there is 5.5 MW of power currently Under Construction and an additional 18 MW of Planned Power capacity to meet future demands.
Redundancy and Tier Design
The data center adheres to a Tier 3 Design, signifying high reliability and redundancy. To maintain continuous operation, critical systems are backed by an N+1 level of redundancy across the board. This includes UPS Redundancy, Cooling Redundancy, and Standby Power Redundancy, ensuring that a backup component is always available to take over in the event of a failure.
Security Measures
Security is paramount at Intergate.Columbia, featuring multiple layers of physical protection for sensitive equipment and data. The perimeter is secured by a Fenced Perimeter, and access is strictly controlled via a Mantrap Entry system, CCTV surveillance, and Biometric Access Control. The site is protected against fire with Automatic Firesuppression systems.

The facility maintains numerous important certifications, demonstrating compliance with stringent industry standards. It is ISO27001 Certified, DSS PCI Compliant, and meets various auditing standards, including SOC 1 Type II Certified, SOC 2 Type II Certified, and SSAE 18 Audited. The data center is also compliant with healthcare regulations, being both HIPAA and HITECH certified.
Colocation Options and Onsite Amenities
The data center offers a variety of colocation options for tenants, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites. Tenants benefit from available Remote Hands service. Onsite amenities designed for customer convenience include a Meet-Me-Room (MMR), a Conference Room, a Breakroom, Office Space, a Loading Bay, and WiFi access. Onsite Security Staff are present 24/7.
Expansion and Ecosystem
Plans are currently underway for Phase II construction, which will be built immediately adjacent to the existing facility, indicating a commitment to expansion.
