The St. George data center is a purpose-built, multi-tenant facility that has been operational since 2008. Situated on a total plot size of 71,874 square feet, the building itself encompasses approximately 30,000 square feet, with 18,000 square feet dedicated to white space. The facility is designed for heavy-duty industrial use, featuring a robust floor load capacity of 625 pounds per square foot and a finished ceiling height of 10 feet from the raised floor. This strategic construction allows for high-density equipment deployments and future scalability within the existing footprint.

The data center offers 17,200 usable square feet of raised floor area, providing a versatile environment for various hardware configurations. Clients can choose from a wide range of colocation options, including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rack space, and private cages or suites. For organizations with highly specific requirements, the facility provides build-to-suit footprints. To support high-performance computing, the infrastructure is engineered to handle a maximum power density of up to 15 kW per rack.

The facility boasts a sophisticated power plant with a total capacity of 4 megawatts, fed by a 25-megawatt primary substation and a 15-megawatt secondary substation. This dual-source municipal feed enables a power delivery capacity of 225W per square foot. The electrical architecture is designed to meet Tier 3 standards, ensuring high availability for mission-critical operations. This robust intake ensures that even the most power-hungry server environments remain consistently energized.

To guarantee 100% uptime, the data center utilizes a minimum of N+1 redundancy across all critical power systems. The backup lineup includes three 2-megawatt Caterpillar generators and eight 750-KVA Liebert UPS units. In the event of a utility failure, the on-site fuel storage—currently 3,000 gallons with an additional 6,000-gallon capacity—provides a minimum of 48 hours of runtime. This comprehensive backup strategy ensures seamless transitions during power fluctuations or prolonged outages.

Climate stability is maintained by a specialized HVAC array consisting of forty DS, SX, DSE, and CRAC units. These systems are calibrated to manage the heat loads generated by high-density server racks, ensuring that equipment operates within optimal temperature and humidity ranges. By utilizing a mix of advanced cooling technologies, the facility maintains environmental precision above and below the raised floor, which is essential for the longevity and performance of sensitive electronic components.

As a carrier-neutral facility, the St. George data center offers a rich ecosystem of connectivity options. It features a dedicated Meet-Me-Room (MMR) and provides access to 11 peering networks and numerous major carriers, including Century Link, Zayo, Level3, ELI, TDS, and Utopia. This diverse network landscape allows clients to choose the most efficient and cost-effective paths for their data, ensuring low latency and high-speed global reach through a variety of local and national providers.

Security is a top priority, with 24/7 on-site personnel and comprehensive CCTV surveillance monitoring the perimeter, loading docks, and parking areas. Access is strictly controlled via biometric door locks and a secured perimeter fence. The facility is DSS PCI and SAS70 Type 2 certified, reflecting a commitment to rigorous operational standards. For fire safety, the building employs a VESDA (Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus) system and double interlock pre-action fire suppression throughout all critical areas.

Beyond technical infrastructure, the facility provides extensive support and convenience features. On-site technical staff are available 24/7 to provide "Remote Hands" assistance, while a 3,000-square-foot upper level offers office suites, conference rooms, workstations, and a lounge for client use. The lower level includes an additional 3,000 square feet for secure staging and storage. With 24/7/365 building access and a dedicated loading bay, the facility is designed to support the full lifecycle of client hardware and personnel needs.
