SHV01 stands as a premier infrastructure hub in downtown Shreveport, specifically engineered to handle power intensive workloads for modern enterprise needs. Spanning a total building size of 87,000 square feet, the facility currently offers 7,300 square feet of fully built out whitespace. As the only Tier III rated data center in the state of Louisiana, it represents a unique regional asset for organizations requiring high level operational excellence and guaranteed uptime for demanding cloud and managed service environments.

The facility is designed for high density performance, delivering up to 20kW per rack across more than 200 active server and switch racks. The electrical backbone is extensive, supported by 91,000 feet of power cabling. While the fully built out power capacity reaches 2.2 MW, the facility currently operates with 0.9 MW of live power and has an additional 0.3 MW under construction. This robust energy profile ensures the center can scale alongside the growing needs of its tenants.

Adhering to strict Tier III design standards, SHV01 prioritizes continuous availability through comprehensive redundancy. Both the Uninterruptible Power Supply and cooling systems utilize an N plus 1 redundancy configuration, ensuring that a component failure does not result in downtime. This architectural resilience is a cornerstone of the facility’s value proposition, providing a stable environment for mission critical data and hardware since becoming operational in 2016.

Security at SHV01 is managed through a rigorous multi layered approach combining physical and digital safeguards. The site is protected by twenty four hour onsite security staff, continuous CCTV surveillance, and dual method entry using biometric and card access controls. The facility also maintains high tier industry certifications including SOC 2 Type II and DSS PCI compliance, meeting stringent data handling and privacy standards required by financial and healthcare institutions.

The data center serves as a vital connectivity node and features a dedicated Meet Me Room for streamlined interconnection. It currently hosts five distinct network providers and two peering networks, offering tenants a diverse range of low latency routing options. The presence of a cloud focused tenant within the facility enables on site hybrid cloud deployments and access to specialized managed services.

Housed in a retrofitted building with solid flooring, the facility is engineered to support heavy hardware deployments. Asset protection is reinforced through a dual action dry pipe activated fire suppression system. This pre action configuration is designed specifically for data center environments, activating only when a fire is confirmed and minimizing the risk of accidental water exposure to sensitive electronic equipment.

SHV01 is designed as a functional workspace for both visiting technicians and long term tenants. The facility provides twenty four hour onsite technical staff and Remote Hands services to support hardware maintenance. Onsite amenities include a conference room, breakroom, office space, and a loading bay for equipment deliveries. Additional conveniences such as crash carts, loaner tools, WiFi access, and available street parking support efficient operations during maintenance windows.
