The Raleigh Data Center is audited annually against numerous rigorous standards, including ITAR, EU-US Privacy Shield, SOC 1, SOC 2, HIPAA, GLBA, and PCI Colo*. The facility is SSAE-16 SOC 3 Type III Certified, DSS PCI Certified, ISO 27001 Certified, SOC 1 Type II Certified, SOC 2 Type II Certified, and NIST 800-53 Certified.

Power and Cooling Redundancy
The center is designed for maximum availability, offering a 100% SLA for facility, power, and network. Power infrastructure features multiple feeds from separate sub-stations and a True 2N UPS system (2N Redundancy). Standby power is ensured by five redundant 2,000kW generators.
The cooling infrastructure utilizes N+2 redundancy on the chiller plant and a minimum of N+1 redundancy on CRACs and CRAHs. Overall, the data rooms are designed and commissioned for N+1 and 2N redundancy, with all systems fully 2N designed and commissioned.
Connectivity and Services
As one of seven interconnected TierPoint Data Centers in North Carolina, the Raleigh facility offers extensive network capabilities with two network providers and access to peering networks. It functions as a leading hybrid IT data center, providing connectivity to a variety of cloud options.
Services available include Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, and Remote Hands support. Critical services such as DRaaS are enhanced by connectivity to 38 interconnected data centers nationwide.
Facility Size and Operational Support
The total size of the building is 65,000 sq. ft., with 40,000 sq. ft. of fully built-out whitespace available for customer deployments. Operational support includes 24x7 security and technical operations with hands-and-eyes support.
Onsite security staff and onsite technical staff ensure round the clock assistance. The facility also includes a loading bay for efficient equipment delivery.
Fire Suppression and Access Control
The facility employs an advanced fire suppression system, including a Dual Interlock Dry Pipe Preaction Sprinkler system for automatic fire suppression. Access is tightly controlled using biometric and card access control methods, supported by 24/7 onsite security staff.
