QTS Piscataway is an infrastructure-rich, 360,000 square foot facility located on a 38acre Data center in the New York metro area, a global hub for the financial, pharmaceutical, and digital media industries. It is strategically positioned for accessibility, being just minutes from Newark Liberty International Airport and various mass transit options. The facility is designed to offer flexible solutions within its total building size, with the ability to expand to 176,000 sq. ft. of raised floor (whitespace). The parent company, QTS Realty Trust, Inc. (NYSE: QTS), is a leading provider of data center solutions, leveraging its software-defined technology platform (SDP) to deliver secure, compliant infrastructure and robust connectivity to a diverse clientele.

The data center boasts significant power capacity, offering over 26 MW of critical power capacity with a fully built-out capacity of 52 MW. It is engineered for high reliability, supporting N to 2N power redundancy to ensure continuous operation. Critical power infrastructure includes an on-site 112kVA substation and fully integrated UPS systems. The data center provides various colocation options, including full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, cages, and suites, all supported by on-site expert staff for facility and electrical maintenance.

Designed with reliability and resiliency in mind, the facility features fully-redundant high-density power and cooling capacities. Specifically, it offers N+2 redundancy for both UPS power and cooling, which exceeds the industry standard for high availability. This level of redundancy minimizes the risk of service disruption, ensuring maximum availability and uptime for customers' mission-critical web services.

QTS Piscataway demonstrates a commitment to sustainability with the inclusion of solar panels generating 2 MW of power. The facility has achieved the LEED Gold certification, indicating its high standards for design, construction, and operation in environmental performance. Furthermore, it holds several critical compliance and management certifications, including DSS PCI Certified, ISO 27001 Certified, SOC 1 Type II Certified, and SOC 2 Type II Certified, confirming adherence to strict standards for data security, information security management, and control procedures.

The facility employs a layered, robust security framework. The campus is protected by a security fence with a guard house at the main entrance. Physical access control is highly restricted, featuring a single point of entry with card key access control and dual authentication with biometric readers. Security is monitored 24x7x365 by manned security personnel and is fully monitored by CCTV cameras. Beyond physical security, the overarching security program includes fire protection systems and is managed by highly trained personnel adhering to strict security procedures.

QTS Piscataway is a connectivity-rich facility, offering an extensive ecosystem with 18 network carriers, including 6 Tier-1 carriers. It ensures robust and diverse network paths with 3 diverse underground fiber entry laterals to the site and 4 points of entry ("POE"). It is a major network hub, serving as a Point of Presence (PoP) for the Amsterdam Internet Exchange and is Open X certified. The facility facilitates interconnection with three meet-me rooms ("MMR") and has 35 peering networks, solidifying its position as a major connectivity destination.

The facility is a 360,000 sq. ft. building on a generous 38-acre campus (Total Plot Size: 1,655,280 sq. ft.) and includes customer focused amenities such as Conference Rooms, Office Space, and Parking Available (200+ spaces). Logistical support is provided by 4 loading docks with bays. Customer operations are supported by Remote Hands services and enhanced by the QTS Service Delivery Platform (SDP), which gives users real-time visibility, access, and control over critical metrics for their hybrid IT deployments. All services are supported by QTS ITIL certified operations personnel and monitoring systems.
