EdgeCore (EdgeCore's Mesa) Data Center

The EdgeCore Mesa Data Center is strategically situated in the Elliot Road Technology Corridor. The facility is planned to encompass 1.25 million square feet of new, state-of-the-art data centers, with a total building size upon full build-out reaching 3,100,000 square feet. The data center is designed to support substantial mission-critical customer requirements.

A key feature of the data center is its robust power infrastructure. It includes an on-site substation designed to deliver 280 MW of utility power, supporting 225 MW of critical load. The facility's fully built-out total power is projected to be 336 MW. Both the UPS redundancy and the standby power redundancy are engineered for high availability at 2N.

The Mesa Data center offers an intelligent solution to customer requirements through several financial and operational advantages. These include available TPT and use tax exemptions and access to low-cost utility power, which also provides renewable options. The design emphasizes energy efficiency with a targeted Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of < 1.25, providing significant operational savings.

Security and reliability are paramount at the facility. The data center features a fenced perimeter and utilizes CCTV surveillance. There is a sophisticated fire suppression system, specifically VESDA with dual action zonal interlocking dry-pipe with pre-action and automatic fire suppression. For operational assurance, both onsite security staff and onsite technical staff are available 24/7.

Beyond the data halls, the Data center provides various features to support customers and staff. These amenities include a breakroom, office space, loading bay, and WiFi access. Additionally, loaner tools are available, and secure, on-site parking is provided. The data center is listed to potentially house five child-data center listings.

The comprehensive offering of the Mesa Data Center includes flexible capacity options for customers. These services range from full cabinets and partial cabinets to shared rackspace suites. The facility also offers essential services such as remote hands to assist with on-site maintenance and operations. The targeted PUE of 1.25 highlights the data center's commitment to efficient operation across all offered capacities.
