Netrality (Netrality - 401 N Broad) Data Center

The facility serves as a primary hub for global data exchange, offering direct access to Transatlantic submarine cable systems. As a carrier neutral environment, it provides clients with a diverse ecosystem of multiple metro dark fiber and long haul transport providers. Connectivity is managed through a building owned Meet Me Room MMR and a dedicated Meet Me Area, ensuring seamless integration between racks. The network density is further bolstered by access to two major internet exchange points and 44 peering networks, making it a critical node for high speed data transit.

The infrastructure is engineered for maximum uptime and scalability, featuring six IT service provider Points of Entry POE. To protect against physical fiber cuts or service interruptions, the facility utilizes redundant fiber pathways leading to the Meet Me Area and specialized POE splice rooms for secure cable management. Within the MMR, clients can choose from various configurations, including standard cabinets, caged cabinets, or customized suites, all supported by a transparent and flexible management structure.

To maintain optimal hardware performance, the data center employs a sophisticated N+1 cooling redundancy strategy. This includes the use of Cold Aisle Containment to prevent the mixing of hot and cold air, alongside Team Mode CRAC Computer Room Air Conditioning operations for synchronized efficiency. The environmental reliability is further supported by a redundant water service, ensuring that the cooling systems remain operational even during a municipal utility failure.

The power system is designed to eliminate single points of failure, starting with four redundant utility power feeds. Critical loads are protected by UPS modules that are expandable up to 1200kW, operating with N+1 redundancy. In the event of a total grid failure, N+1 generator backup takes over to ensure continuous operation. The facility also supports DC power distribution and utilizes a comprehensive critical facility monitoring system to track energy consumption and health in real time.

Security is handled through a rigorous two perimeter approach, combining 24/7 general building security with specific on site security for the Meet Me Room. Access is strictly controlled via key card authentication throughout the entire facility, supplemented by continuous CCTV video surveillance. Authorized customer personnel are granted 24/7 access via pre approved access lists, ensuring that only verified individuals can interact with the hardware.

The facility meets the highest industry benchmarks for data handling and operational integrity. It is SOC 1 Type II and SOC 2 Type II certified, as well as HIPAA and PCI DSS compliant, making it suitable for healthcare and financial services. Operations are overseen by a 24/7 Network Operations Center NOC, while the physical structure is built to handle a maximum floor load of 200 Lb per sq.ft. and is protected by an automatic fire suppression system.

Beyond the server racks, the data center provides a comprehensive professional environment for visiting technicians and clients. This includes Remote Hands services for off site troubleshooting, vendor touch down spaces, and dedicated office areas. For longer deployments, clients have access to a conference room, breakroom, loading bay, and on site parking. The facility also features internal WiFi and a Child Data Center listing structure to support complex multi site deployments.
