CoreSite’s NY2 data center in Secaucus, New Jersey, serves as a premier colocation hub, offering over 236,000 square feet of high density capacity. This purpose built facility was constructed from the ground up to ensure maximum structural integrity and scalability. Strategically positioned outside of high risk zones, the center is built above the 500 year flood plain, providing a secure and stable environment for mission critical infrastructure. The data center is linked via dedicated dark fiber to CoreSite’s NY1 facility in Manhattan, facilitating seamless integration across the metro area. This network rich environment provides low latency metro connectivity and network resiliency, supported by a strong presence of domestic and international carriers. Tenants have direct access to the CoreSite Any2Exchange®, the second largest peering exchange in the United States, as well as major exchanges such as DE CIX New York and NYIIX. In addition, the facility enables direct connectivity to leading cloud services through AWS Direct Connect and Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute. These capabilities, combined with the CoreSite Open Cloud Exchange®, support advanced hybrid cloud and multi cloud architectures.

Security is managed through a rigorous multi tiered approach that operates twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, throughout the year. The facility is staffed by in house security personnel and protected by an eight foot perimeter fence with controlled site access. Entry into the whitespace is strictly regulated using double mantraps, key card protocols, and biometric scanners. Continuous oversight is maintained through an extensive network of IP DVR cameras monitoring both interior and exterior areas.
