The Marlboro data center is strategically positioned on a secluded dead-end road, offering a natural layer of privacy. The facility is surrounded by dense forest and further shielded by a perimeter land berm that encompasses the site. Despite its private setting, it remains highly accessible, located near I-495 and approximately 37 miles from Boston Logan International Airport, providing proximity to local accommodations and the major Boston metropolitan hub.

Security is a core priority for this facility, which utilizes a multi-layered approach to protect sensitive data. The data center features a mantrap entry system to prevent unauthorized tailgating and is monitored 24/7 by comprehensive CCTV surveillance. Access is strictly governed through a combination of biometric controls and encrypted card access systems, ensuring that only verified personnel can enter critical areas.

Designed for high availability, the facility boasts a fully built-out power capacity of 2.8 MW. To ensure continuous uptime, the electrical infrastructure is supported by redundant utility feeds with diverse routing to separate substations. The facility adheres to an N+1 redundancy standard for its UPS systems and standby power, providing a reliable safety net against utility failures.

To maintain optimal hardware performance, the data center features 64,800 sq. ft. of raised-floor whitespace equipped with 780 tons of Liebert cooling. This cooling system is configured with N+1 redundancy to prevent overheating. For fire safety, the facility uses an automatic dry-pipe pre-action sprinkler system in all critical and raised-floor spaces, while standard wet systems protect non-critical areas.

The Marlboro site offers a wide variety of deployment configurations to meet diverse client needs. Available options include full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, secure cages, and custom suite footprints. The facility also provides "Remote Hands" services, allowing clients to leverage on-site technical experts for hardware maintenance and troubleshooting without needing to be physically present.
