The Manchester Data Center is built on a high performance foundation featuring an anti static raised floor system designed to eliminate electrostatic discharge and protect sensitive hardware. The facility offers highly versatile colocation options to accommodate various business scales, ranging from shared rackspace and partial cabinets to full cabinets and custom built cages. Standard rack dimensions are optimized for high density equipment, typically supporting units up to 1.75 inches high by 19 inch rack mount by 36 inches deep, providing a professional environment for mission critical hardware.

To ensure 100 percent uptime, the center employs a sophisticated electrical architecture with N plus 1 redundancy across its UPS and standby generator systems. The facility delivers fully redundant power feeds from diverse PDUs, supporting a wide range of requirements from 110v AC to 208v AC, including three phase power for high draw equipment. With a maximum power capacity of 15 kW per rack, the center also features active power usage displays, allowing clients to monitor and manage their energy consumption with precision.

Security is handled through a multi layered defense strategy that operates 24 hours a day 365 days a year. The facility is protected by constant CCTV surveillance and off site monitoring of both the network and the physical perimeter. Entry is strictly regulated via two stage authentication, which includes a combination of card access and biometric access controls. This ensures that only authorized personnel can enter the data center floor, while individual lockable cabinets provide an additional layer of hardware level security.

The data center maintains a pristine operating environment through a robust HVAC system with N plus 1 cooling redundancy. To protect against physical hazards, the facility utilizes an advanced leak and water detection system alongside a Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus. In the event of an emergency, the center is equipped with a Siemens Sinorix 227 fire suppression system, a waterless non residue solution that neutralizes fire threats without damaging electronic components or leaving behind harmful deposits.

Beyond its technical specifications, the Manchester Data Center provides a suite of professional amenities designed to support on site technicians and remote operations. The facility includes a customer lounge with dedicated workstations, high speed WiFi, and an equipment staging area for unboxing and configuring hardware. Logistical needs are met with a full loading bay, freight elevator, and Remote Hands services, ensuring that equipment transport and basic troubleshooting can be handled efficiently at any time.
