Lifeline Data Centers Eastgate is a massive 41 acre complex situated in a repurposed 1958 shopping mall. The primary data center, located in the Burlington building at the northwest corner, is a 60000 square foot former department store built to fallout shelter standards. This formidable structure is composed of reinforced concrete and steel, featuring a 10 inch thick concrete roof and a floor loading capacity of 250 pounds per square foot. The wider 80000 square foot facility also includes five additional buildings under the same roof, providing secure office and staging space for its clients.

The facility is strategically positioned in the American heartland, offering exceptional logistics and transport links. It is located just two minutes from I 70 and 22 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport, placing it within a single day’s drive of over half the United States population. To accommodate onsite personnel and clients, Lifeline provides ample reserved parking and ensures 24/7 access to the premises, backed by a constant onsite staff presence.

Designed for mission critical operations, Lifeline is TIA 942 compliant and operates with an N+N 2N redundancy model across all critical systems. It boasts a 99.995 percent uptime rate, rivaling the highest industry tier standards. Power is sourced via the Indianapolis Power and Light internal grid through two discrete feeds, offering virtually unlimited capacity. Every client receives true AB power delivered through independent generator and UPS systems, ensuring that there is no single point of failure.

The data center environment is maintained using N+N chilled water cooling systems to ensure optimal temperatures for high density hardware. Unlike traditional raised floor environments, Lifeline utilizes a solid floor design with overhead power and connectivity distribution, which simplifies maintenance and enhances airflow. For disaster prevention, the facility is equipped with a dry pipe fire suppression system, preventing accidental water damage while providing automated protection in the event of an emergency.

Lifeline functions as a carrier neutral hub with seven onsite providers and no cross connect fees, offering BGP redundant bandwidth and access to two Internet Exchange Points.
