Netrality (701 West Henry Street) Data Center

The facility features a robust structural design tailored for high density equipment, offering 14,500 sq. ft. of fully built out whitespace. It includes 15 foot slab to slab ceiling heights and a floor loading capacity of 150 lbs per sf, supporting heavy hardware configurations. While freight elevators are not present, the site includes a secure single bay loading dock for equipment intake. Located outside the 500 year floodplain, the facility benefits from strong geographical stability and is supported by a Building Facility Monitoring System and an 8x5 Network Operations Center.

The electrical architecture is designed for maximum uptime, using diverse 12,470v feeders sourced from the SouthWest Substation. Power backup is provided through an N+1 UPS system and a standby generator supported by a 1,300 gallon fuel supply, ensuring continuous operation during utility failures. The facility also supports DC power distribution for specialized equipment requirements, maintaining a resilient electrical core under varying loads.

To ensure optimal hardware performance, the data center operates a 200 ton evaporator condenser loop cooling system. This system includes N+1 redundancy at both the overall capacity level and within individual CRAC units located in the data room. Efficiency is enhanced through cold aisle containment, which prevents hot and cold air mixing, along with an overhead ladder rack system that maintains clear airflow through effective cable management.

As a carrier neutral facility, the data center offers flexible connectivity through a building owned Meet Me Room. Network resilience is strengthened by three diverse Points of Entry, reducing the risk of fiber cuts and external outages. Clients can access an Internet Exchange Point and 21 peering networks, with service options including full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rack space. Remote Hands services are available to support onsite technical and networking tasks.

Security is delivered through a multi layered strategy that includes Three Level Security and continuous video surveillance. Access is controlled through key card and biometric systems, with two factor authentication required for sensitive areas such as the Meet Me Room. Only authorized personnel are permitted entry through controlled access lists, while approved clients enjoy 24/7 access. Additional protection is provided by onsite security staff and biometric verification checkpoints.

The facility complies with leading industry standards, including SSAE SOC 1 & 2 Type 2 certifications, HIPAA compliance, and PCI compliant cages for financial workloads. Fire protection is managed through a pre action dry pipe automatic suppression system that reduces the risk of accidental water discharge. Client amenities include conference rooms, secure storage areas, free secure WiFi, and dedicated onsite parking to support visiting technical teams.
