This 115,000 sq. ft. facility is a 19 story concrete structure with reinforced steel, offering a 51,000 sq. ft. data center footprint and 31,500 sq. ft. of 18" raised floor. The total building size is 120,000 sq. ft. and it is fully built out with 51,000 sq. ft. of whitespace.
Flexible solutions are offered, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, Suites Footprints, and Remote Hands.
The facility is designed for reliability, redundancy, and resiliency, with fully built-out power of 3 MW. Power is supplied via dual PSE&G feeds from two separate substations. Both the UPS and Standby Power Redundancy are N+1, supported by 6,900 gallons of on-site diesel fuel with refueling contracts.The cooling system features N+1 dry cooling plant redundancy, redundant glycol piping, and is backed up by two 1.25 MW generators. A leak detection system is installed under all raised floors with drains to remove any water.
Security is robust and guaranteed, with security guards on-site 24x7x365 and CCTV surveillance covering entrances and the data center floor. All building entrances require a card key, while the data center floor and secured areas require both card key and biometric authentication.The facility utilizes dedicated elevators to the QTS space and adheres to strict security procedures.
The facility is carrier-neutral, providing access to multiple providers through diverse entrances and three points of entry for SONET and fiber access. QTS metroConnect offers additional connectivity to providers at the nearby 111 8th Ave Carrier Hotel.Internal cabling utilizes copper, coax, or fiber via structured cable management systems. The site includes one Internet Exchange Point and connects to five peering networks.
