DartPoints (SC-GSP01)

GSP01 is an enterprise class multi tenant data center located in Greenville’s Global Business Park with direct access to I 85 and I 385. The facility benefits from a low natural disaster risk profile and cost effective utilities. Managed by DartPoints since 2007, the 25,800 square foot site features a retrofitted raised floor design with 10,500 square feet of whitespace supporting both production and disaster recovery environments.

Power and Infrastructure

The facility is designed to support high density deployments with power availability of up to 20 kW per rack. GSP01 has a total built out power capacity of 13.3 MW, including 2 MW currently live, 0.8 MW under construction, and an additional 10 MW planned for future expansion. Colocation options include full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and private cages.

Cooling and Redundancy

GSP01 follows a Tier 2 design standard to ensure reliable operations. Both the UPS systems and cooling infrastructure are configured with N plus 1 redundancy, allowing the environment to remain stable and fully operational during maintenance activities or component failures.

Sustainability and Certifications

DartPoints maintains strong operational and compliance standards at GSP01, supported by a SOC 2 Type II certification. This certification confirms adherence to strict requirements for security, availability, and processing integrity and supports a diverse ecosystem of cloud and colocation service providers.

Security and Safety

The data center is protected by 24 by 7 onsite security and technical staff. Physical security controls include biometric access, card based entry systems, and comprehensive CCTV monitoring. Fire protection is delivered through a dual action system that combines FM200 single zone suppression with a pre action dry pipe sprinkler system.

Connectivity

GSP01 operates as a carrier neutral facility with a dedicated Meet Me Room. It currently offers connectivity through seven network providers and three peering networks, enabling flexible and resilient network designs. Remote Hands services are available to support customer hardware and operational needs.

The facility provides amenities for visiting technicians and long term tenants, including office workspaces, a conference room, and a breakroom. Logistics support includes a loading bay, crash carts, and loaner tools, while additional conveniences include onsite parking and building wide WiFi.
