The ManagedWay Data Center 2 is strategically situated in Troy, Michigan, a prominent suburb of Detroit. As the primary financial hub of Oakland County, Troy provides a robust corporate environment, serving as a base for major institutions such as Flagstar Bank, Citizens Bank, Bank of America, and National City. This location places the facility at the heart of a significant economic corridor, offering a professional and stable geographic setting for high level data operations.

Operational since 2012, this purpose built facility is designed as a Tier 4 Class 4 data center, ensuring the highest levels of reliability and uptime. The infrastructure features a 20 inch raised floor system to optimize cooling distribution and overhead wiring for efficient cable management. Built as a sole tenant facility with expandable whitespace, the center incorporates N+1 cooling redundancy to maintain a stable environment for critical hardware even during equipment maintenance or failure.

To guarantee continuous operation, ManagedWay employs a highly resilient power architecture. The facility is fed by dual redundant electrical substation feeds and supports a total power capacity of 2 MW. The electrical system utilizes a tri bus power configuration, including two double conversion UPS units and fully independent A and B bus systems. In the event of a utility outage, an on site generator provides long term backup power, ensuring that client operations remain uninterrupted.

Security is a core priority for the ManagedWay facility, which is SAS70 Type 2 certified and DSS PCI compliant. The data center is monitored 24/7/365 via continuous CCTV video surveillance and offers around the clock access for authorized personnel. For disaster prevention, the building is equipped with an automatic dry pipe fire suppression system, which protects sensitive electronic equipment from water damage unless a fire is confirmed, combining safety with risk mitigation.

ManagedWay offers a wide array of flexible space options to accommodate various business needs, ranging from large scale enterprises to smaller footprints. Clients can choose from shared rackspace, partial cabinets, or full cabinets. For those requiring more privacy or specific configurations, the facility provides dedicated cages, footprints, and custom private suites. Additionally, Remote Hands services are available to assist with on site technical tasks, allowing clients to manage their infrastructure without being physically present.

The Data center features a sophisticated networking stack with a dedicated Meet Me Room and access to multiple peering networks. The blended bandwidth is comprised of Tier 1 providers including Level 3, XO Communications, and Comcast Business. This connectivity is delivered via ManagedWay’s private fiber and is rigorously protected at both Layer 2 through optical failover and Layer 3 via BGP Border Gateway Protocol, ensuring maximum network availability and low latency performance.
