123Net offers a versatile range of housing options for client hardware within its facilities. Customers can choose from individually locked full and half cabinets, customized cages, or private suites tailored to specific footprints. For businesses requiring less space, shared rackspace is also available. To support these physical installations, 123Net provides a dedicated Remote Hands service, allowing clients to manage their equipment through onsite technicians without needing to be physically present.

Reliability is the hallmark of the 123Net facility, which features a 2(N+1) diverse power configuration. This includes separate PDUs, panels, transformers, and generators to ensure a continuous power supply. The facility is supported by a total of 1 MW of power, backed by an N+1 UPS configuration utilizing two 100kVa units and one 500kVa unit, along with an N+1 standby generator system featuring 750 kVa capacity. This architecture is designed to prevent any single point of failure from impacting client operations.

The data center located at 24275 Northwestern Hwy is a standalone building encompassing over 8,000 square feet of fully built out whitespace. Operational since 2006, the two story building features a solid floor design optimized for heavy equipment. To maintain the ideal environment for high performance computing, the facility utilizes an N+1 redundant cooling system based on Direct Expansion DX technology, ensuring that temperatures remain stable even during peak loads.

123Net operates a massive 3000 plus mile Michigan based fiber optic backbone designed for high scalability. This dedicated network completely bypasses local phone and cable company infrastructures, offering a fully meshed, fault tolerant environment. The facility serves as a major connectivity hub, featuring multiple fiber entry points, access to an Internet Exchange Point, six peering networks, and eight different network providers, ensuring low latency and high speed data transfer.

Security at the 123Net data center is managed through a multi layered approach to protect sensitive data and hardware. The facility features a fenced perimeter, continuous CCTV surveillance, and card access control. Entry into the facility requires 24x7x365 dual factor authentication. To complement these physical security measures, the site is staffed 24x7x365 by onsite technical professionals and offers dedicated disaster recovery space for businesses needing emergency operational continuity.
