The American Tower EDC Boulder is a highly compact Edge data center situated in Broomfield, Colorado. It was specifically engineered to support the demanding requirements of low-latency cloud applications and emerging 5G technologies. This facility's footprint is notably small, spanning just 360 square feet of whitespace. Despite its size, it provides a robust 0.1 MW (100kW) of power capacity, which is partitioned to accommodate various client needs. The space is subdivided into eight cabinets, including three full cabinets and an additional 20 quarter-cabinet lockers, offering flexible deployment options.

The data center's modest yet capable 100kW (0.1 MW) power capacity is key to its function as a distributed Edge computing hub. For high-speed data transmission, the facility is connected via dark fiber to a major regional data center. This critical interconnection ensures that enterprise and telecom customers can leverage high-speed data transfer rates, supporting real-time processing requirements. The services provided include Remote Hands support and options for Shared Rackspace and both Full and Partial Cabinets.
