Cyxtera’s Highlands Ranch campus sits approximately 30 minutes south of downtown Denver and 40 minutes from Denver International Airport, offering logistical convenience for both local enterprises and global operators. The campus consists of two Energy Star certified facilities constructed as single-story secured pods. The DEN1 design incorporates strong perimeter hardening including fenced boundaries and 24/7 camera surveillance. The full building size spans 66,427 square feet, optimized for modular deployments with structured airflow, efficient cable routing, and dedicated staging capacity.

The infrastructure design prioritizes uptime and system fault tolerance. The facility delivers 5.4 megawatts of fully provisioned critical power, engineered with N+1 redundancy across all essential infrastructure layers. This includes redundant UPS support, cooling resilience, and generator-backed standby power to guarantee uninterrupted operations in the event of system failure. Rack-level power supports deployments up to 0.25 kW per rack, aligning with enterprise architectures focused on distributed efficiency.

Cyxtera facilities enforce strict physical security frameworks suitable for regulated enterprises. Access authentication is reinforced through biometric scanning and multi-factor access cards. Interior entry sequences require mantrap security clearance to prevent unauthorized tailgating. Continuous monitoring is delivered via closed-circuit surveillance across facility interiors and exteriors. Fire protection is automated using a pre-action dry-pipe sprinkler system, preventing accidental discharge while activating instantly when triggered to protect infrastructure and customer assets.

Designed as carrier-neutral hubs, the data centers support 11 network providers and integrate into multiple high-capacity peering networks, allowing strong cross-connect potential for vendors, partners, and private networking strategies. More than 59,605 square feet of fully powered whitespace is available for customer build-outs. Deployment models are flexible, offering full and partial cabinets, shared racks, private cages, and fully isolated suites to support businesses of varying scale, security frameworks, and compliance needs.

Cyxtera maintains strict compliance and governance to support enterprises operating in regulated industries. The facility is designed under Tier 3 availability principles and has passed audits across major global security frameworks. Certifications include PCI DSS, ISO 27001, ISAE 3402 Type 2, SOC 1 Type II, and SOC 2 Type II. Additional operational assurance includes SSAE 18 auditing and compliance alignment under the NIST 800-53 security controls framework, demonstrating transparency and regulatory readiness.

To streamline customer operations, Cyxtera provides essential business and technical resources on location. These include a dedicated Meet-Me-Room for carrier interconnection, fully equipped conference and staff breakroom spaces, and operational support tools such as crash carts and loaner diagnostic kits for installation and system repair activities. WiFi connectivity is supported throughout the campus. Customers can also access on-demand Remote Hands services for real-time support including installations, audit assistance, cable patching, and hardware servicing without requiring on-site staffing.
