Equinix’s DA11, the latest addition to its network of International Business Exchange™ (IBX®) data centers, is now fully operational in downtown Dallas. This state-of-the-art facility meets the rising demand for robust network exchange services in one of the country’s most dynamic interconnection markets. As the first four-story FDC (Flex Data Center) in the region, DA11 caters to a dense concentration of telecommunications companies and stands as a major communications hub for the southern United States.

DA11 offers an expansive 144,000 square feet of fully built-out whitespace, allowing ample space for diverse IT deployments. With robust infrastructure and high-density support, the facility is designed to accommodate large-scale and mission-critical workloads.

Reliability is ensured through N+2 redundancy across all critical systems. This includes uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), cooling units, and standby power, delivering high availability and operational resilience for enterprise-grade deployments.

DA11 is equipped with rigorous security measures to protect customer assets. These include mantrap entry systems, biometric access control, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, and a double-interlocked, pre-action (dry pipe) fire suppression system. Dedicated onsite security staff are present around the clock to maintain a secure environment.

The facility includes several customer-friendly amenities to support onsite personnel. These include a conference room, breakroom, crash carts, loaner tools, complimentary WiFi, and free parking adjacent to the building.

DA11 offers a range of flexible colocation solutions to meet varying customer needs, including full and partial cabinets, shared rackspace, private cages, and secure suites. Remote hands services are also available for technical support and equipment management.

This four-story data center is built with a solid floor design capable of supporting a maximum floor load of 250 pounds per square foot, enabling high-density equipment installations and operational efficiency across all floors.

DA11 plays a central role in Dallas’s digital ecosystem, offering access to 37 peering networks and four network providers. The facility also hosts three colocation service providers and one cloud service provider, fostering a rich and interconnected IT community.
