Cologix (COL4-S) Data Center

The COL4-S data center is a significant addition to the Cologix footprint in Columbus, OH, serving as the company's fourth facility in the region. Spanning 256,000 square feet, this modern center features a customizable configuration and benefits from its convenient adjacent location to Cologix's existing COL1-3 data centers. This strategic positioning enhances interconnectivity and regional service continuity for tenants.

COL4-S is engineered for high-density power requirements, offering a Fully Built-Out Power capacity of 27 MW. This power is distributed across 8 data halls. The Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system is designed with 1.5 MW blocks and a robust 5.4 distributed redundant plan, ensuring redundant power sources are available for every cabinet. Furthermore, the facility supports power options from renewable resources, reflecting a commitment to sustainability, and includes practical amenities like electric car charging stations.

To maintain optimal operational conditions, the facility utilizes chilled water cooling with free cooling capabilities. For critical asset protection, the fire suppression system is highly advanced, featuring a Single and double-interlock pre-action with an N2 system (Nitrogen). Physical security is also paramount, with a Fenced Perimeter, CCTV surveillance, Biometric Access Control, and Card Access Control ensuring secure entry and site monitoring. The building is equipped with an Automatic Firesuppression system.

COL4-S provides a comprehensive range of colocation configurations to meet diverse client needs. These include Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, and Shared Rackspace Suites. Essential operational support is provided through Remote Hands services. The facility is designed to foster a connected ecosystem, featuring a dedicated Meet-Me-Room (MMR) to facilitate interconnection and peering among tenants.

The data center offers several on-site amenities to support tenant operations and comfort. These shared spaces include a dedicated Conference Room for meetings and a Breakroom. The facility is a colocation hub, hosting Tenants offering colocation services, which contributes to a robust and competitive marketplace within the data center itself.
