The LexisNexis Hilliard Data Center is a top-tier, high-availability facility dedicated to hosting law firm data and systems, providing robust protection against business interruptions. Its primary focus is ensuring continuous operation and data integrity. The facility offers a comprehensive range of services, including backup and recovery, data replication, enhanced security, systems and application management, and essential network services, making it a critical hub for legal IT infrastructure.

The data center achieves its high-availability standard through extensive power and network redundancy. Power is supplied by utility feeds from two diverse substations utilizing separate building entrances. For continuous operation, it features redundant power and cooling systems, supported by N+1 UPS systems and fully diverse Power Distribution Units (PDUs). Additional operational assurance is provided by two 2000KW Caterpillar generators, capable of running for at least 36 hours without refueling. Cooling is maintained using Environmental Control Units (ECUs) and a backup 200-ton reciprocating chiller, sustaining optimal humidity levels between 30–40%.

Security at the Hilliard Data Center is multilayered, covering both the physical premises and the digital network. Strong intrusion detection and prevention systems monitor interior and exterior spaces. Access is tightly restricted through security badges, PIN authentication, card readers, and continuous closed-circuit camera (CCTV) surveillance. The facility also integrates an automatic fire-suppression system utilizing CO₂. To reinforce safety and operational oversight, both onsite security personnel and onsite technical teams are available 24/7.

The Hilliard Data Center provides adaptable equipment housing solutions tailored to client requirements, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, and secured dedicated Cages. The facility further extends Remote Hands support to assist with physical installation, maintenance, and other on-site technical tasks, backed by continuous 24/7 on-site expert availability.
