Mango Bay highlights its location as a significant advantage over competitors that often locate in downtown Cleveland buildings. This suburban location allows customers to avoid the hassle of city traffic, parking, elevators, complicated access hours, and unmanned telco rooms. For scheduled access to equipment, customers can visit 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, or arrange access at other times with 48 hours advance written notice.

A key selling point for Mango Bay is its proven reliability, exemplified by its 0% downtime record during the 2003 blackout, which demonstrates superior preparation compared to competitors. The colocation service ensures a continuous connection to the internet backbone via redundant carriers. Furthermore, the facility provides emergency backup power through both natural gas and gasoline generators, and the building is secured 24/7 by a professional security company and local surveillance equipment.

Every server colocation subscription includes a comprehensive set of services and resources. Customers receive a 100 Mb/s Ethernet switch port and 19" vertical rack/shelf space or floor space for their server, along with a dedicated electrical outlet and air-conditioned environment. Other included services are Primary and/or Secondary DNS Services, Backup Mail Services, and simple services like rebooting (First Level of Support).

Customers are required to supply their own equipment, which typically includes a web server or application server, an Operating System (NT, Unix, Linux), Internet Server Software (IIS, Apache, etc.), a Network Card, and an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). Mango Bay offers First Level of Support, which covers Rebooting, Power Cycling, Checking Connections, and Reading Output. For more complex needs, Extra Management Hours are available at a rate of $95 per hour during normal business hours and $125 per hour after hours or on weekends.

Beyond standard colocation, Mango Bay offers several supplementary services to assist customers. They can provide help with the setup and configuration of equipment, eliminating the need for customers to travel to Cleveland. They also offer lease rates for customers who need equipment as part of a semi-managed hosting service. The service supports Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, and Shared Rackspace, along with Remote Hands assistance, and even allows for external antennas or equipment to be placed on the roof, subject to their roof rights.
