The building spans a total of 384,210 square feet across three solid-floor levels.

Built on a total plot size of 1,295,910 square feet, Prime Chicago 1 is a purpose-built structure designed to accommodate mission-critical infrastructure. The solid floor design across three stories provides stability and load-bearing capacity suitable for high-density data deployments.
Power and Cooling
Engineered for energy efficiency, Prime Chicago 1 operates with a low Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of 1.25. Power systems are designed with N+1 redundancy, including uninterruptible power supply (UPS), cooling infrastructure, and standby generators. This configuration ensures continuous operation and fault tolerance, even during maintenance or component failure.
Security
The facility offers comprehensive physical security features to protect critical infrastructure. These include a fenced perimeter, mantrap entry systems, biometric and card access control, and 24/7 CCTV surveillance.
