Availability and Connectivity

This carrier neutral facility is a connectivity powerhouse, featuring a Ciena powered 8.8 Tbps private optical network. It offers mesh protected connectivity to major internet exchanges, including Digital Realty ATL1 in Atlanta with a round trip of 3.5 ms or less and NashIX in Nashville. With redundant carrier and network distribution rooms, the center provides private connectivity to public cloud providers and serves as a strategic add and drop ramp for Birmingham, Huntsville, Dalton, and Rome. Its proximity to major hubs within 150 miles of Atlanta and Nashville makes it an ideal site for disaster recovery.

It features fully redundant UPS systems delivering 1.2 MW of power and fully redundant standby power provided by two 1.5 MW Caterpillar generators with 36 hours of onsite fuel. The cooling system is equally robust, utilizing a 240 ton air cooled chiller plant and a 240 ton high efficiency dry cooler plant. Additional cooling capacity is maintained via dedicated hot aisle heat exchangers to ensure optimal thermal management for all BLOX Pods.

Security and Support

Security is managed through five concentric perimeters, starting from the property boundary to the individual rack level. The facility is protected by perimeter fencing, a barrier gate at the single point of entry, and a continuously manned security desk. Access is strictly controlled via biometric and badge authentication at every layer, including the data hall and BLOX Pods. Continuous surveillance is provided by CCTV monitoring across the perimeter and interior spaces, and secure customer lockers are available for hardware storage.
