The Chattanooga facility is a purpose built multi tenant data center featuring a modular Edge BLOX design. It initially offers an 8000 sq. ft. Phase I footprint, which is expandable to a total of 16000 sq. ft. in Phase II or through custom build to suit options. The facility utilizes self contained BLOX Pods set on reinforced concrete slabs, providing a highly efficient environment that dissipates 50 percent more heat than conventional raised floors while maintaining a superior Power Usage Effectiveness. Customers benefit from flexible service models, including usage based, bursting, and fixed rate terms, supported by continuous remote hands assistance.

This carrier neutral facility is a connectivity powerhouse, featuring a Ciena powered 8.8 Tbps private optical network. It offers mesh protected connectivity to major internet exchanges, including Digital Realty ATL1 in Atlanta with a round trip of 3.5 ms or less and NashIX in Nashville. With redundant carrier and network distribution rooms, the center provides private connectivity to public cloud providers and serves as a strategic add and drop ramp for Birmingham, Huntsville, Dalton, and Rome. Its proximity to major hubs within 150 miles of Atlanta and Nashville makes it an ideal site for disaster recovery.

Designed to Tier III standards, the data center ensures high reliability and concurrent maintainability. It adheres to rigorous compliance frameworks, including SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 3 audits. To support specialized industries, the facility meets HIPAA and HITRUST standards for healthcare data and PCI DSS requirements for financial transactions. Additionally, the facility is NIST 800 171 compliant, making it suitable for federal contractors and government agencies handling controlled unclassified information. It also holds an Energy Star certification for operational efficiency.

The data hall supports a wide variety of configurations, from shared rack space and partial cabinets to full 50U lockable racks, secure cages, and private suites. For high compute requirements, high density options are readily available. The facility includes essential business amenities such as a dedicated meet me room, conference rooms, and office space for client use. The modular design ensures that the whitespace is easily expandable to meet growing infrastructure needs.

Engineered for maximum uptime, the facility power infrastructure includes a dual 1600 amp utility service fed from diverse substations with an automatic transfer switch. It features fully redundant UPS systems delivering 1.2 MW of power and fully redundant standby power provided by two 1.5 MW Caterpillar generators with 36 hours of onsite fuel. The cooling system is equally robust, utilizing a 240 ton air cooled chiller plant and a 240 ton high efficiency dry cooler plant. Additional cooling capacity is maintained via dedicated hot aisle heat exchangers to ensure optimal thermal management for all BLOX Pods.

Security is managed through five concentric perimeters, starting from the property boundary to the individual rack level. The facility is protected by perimeter fencing, a barrier gate at the single point of entry, and a continuously manned security desk. Access is strictly controlled via biometric and badge authentication at every layer, including the data hall and BLOX Pods. Continuous surveillance is provided by CCTV monitoring across the perimeter and interior spaces, and secure customer lockers are available for hardware storage.
