Colocation NorthWest (Bellevue colocation) Data Center

The Bellevue Colocation Data Center provides all the benefits of enterprise infrastructure and service without the higher costs or travel time associated with larger downtown Seattle operations. This facility is strategically positioned and is directly connected to Colocation NorthWest's Seattle facilities via a redundant fiber ring encircling Lake Washington. This connectivity advantage allows colocation customers to leverage direct carrier and online entity interconnection at the Westin building without the need for maintaining secondary sites in separate carrier facilities.

The Bellevue facility offers substantial capacity, featuring over 2,500 square feet of fully built-out raised floor colocation space, with an additional 1,800 square feet available for private cages or customized solutions. The total Fully Built-Out Whitespace is 4,300 sq. ft. The facility has a total Fully Built-Out Power capacity of 1 MW. The available colocation options include Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites Footprints, supported by a max power per rack of 10 kW.

The data center adheres to high national standards for security and availability. Like all of Colocation NorthWest's facilities, the Bellevue data center is PCI compliant and holds SSAE 16 Type II certification and compliance. Security measures include CCTV surveillance, biometric access control, and card access control. The facility also provides Remote Hands service and connects to 2 peering networks.

To ensure high availability, the critical systems in the Bellevue Colocation Data Center are designed with N+1 redundancy. This redundancy is applied to the UPS systems, cooling systems, and standby power systems. The facility utilizes a raised floor type, which is key for efficient cooling distribution.

A robust, multi-layered fire suppression system is installed in the facility, supported by 24/7 monitoring. The Bellevue Colocation Data Center is equipped with a full pre-action gas agent fire suppression system, featuring both pre-action and FM-200 gas suppression technologies to protect equipment and data from fire damage.
