The BTR02 facility is strategically positioned in a commercial-grade site designed for maximum uptime and environmental safety. Situated 50 feet above sea level and strictly outside the 500-year floodplain, the facility is naturally protected against common regional flood risks. Its structural integrity is complemented by a Tier 3 design, providing a high-performance environment suitable for both core IT infrastructure and mission-critical disaster recovery operations.

One of the most significant advantages of BTR02 is its shared access to one of Louisiana’s highest-priority power grids. This grid also serves the Department of Public Safety and the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security, ensuring that the facility remains powered even during major regional events or emergencies. To back this up, the site utilizes an N+1 UPS redundancy architecture, ensuring consistent performance and preventing downtime during equipment maintenance or failure.

The facility boasts a total building size of 27,400 square feet, with 7,300 square feet dedicated to fully built-out whitespace. In terms of energy capacity, the site is designed for a fully built-out capacity of 6 MW, with 1.2 MW currently live and an additional 3 MW planned for future expansion. This scalability allows businesses to grow their footprint without needing to migrate to a different facility as their data needs evolve.

The facility acts as a robust connectivity hub, featuring a dedicated Meet-Me-Room (MMR) and access to seven distinct network providers.
