The Baltimore Data Center (BALT-01) was engineered to meet rigorous financial-grade requirements, ensuring a robust environment for mission-critical operations. By combining superior facility specifications with IDMS best-in-class standard operating procedures, the site is capable of supporting over 20,000 servers. A standout feature of this location is its direct point-to-point connectivity to Northern Virginia, providing the low-latency benefits of that primary tech hub while avoiding the logistical challenges and "traffic" associated with the NoVA region.

Reliability is anchored by an N+1 redundant electrical design that ensures continuous uptime. The facility features automatic switching from primary to backup power supplies, supported by two Kohler 750kw generators and dedicated battery backups. With isolated electrical and UPS rooms, the center offers both 120V and 208V service in single and three-phase power configurations. These systems are regularly inspected and tested to guarantee absolute stability for all hosted hardware.

To maintain optimal performance, the data center utilizes multiple 20-ton Liebert HVAC units designed to handle high-density heat loads. These units include integrated humidity control systems to protect sensitive electronics from static or moisture damage. Furthermore, the facility is equipped with specialized water detection systems located beneath the raised flooring and a WSA/VESDA early smoke detection system to identify and mitigate environmental risks long before they become critical issues.

InfraDMS maintains a rigorous security posture with 24/7/365 active monitoring of the entire facility. The site is protected by Axis IP-based interior and exterior surveillance cameras that provide total visibility of the grounds. For emergency response, the data center is outfitted with silent alarms and fire detection systems featuring automatic notification protocols, ensuring that both human and automated oversight are constant and reliable.
