The AiNET CyberNAP data center is a cornerstone of the Mid-Atlantic’s digital infrastructure, occupying a sprawling 15-acre campus in Glen Burnie, Maryland. Engineered for massive scale and uninterrupted reliability, the facility boasts a fully built-out power capacity of 80 MW. To guarantee constant uptime, CyberNAP utilizes dual power feeds sourced from separate utility grids, supported by a rigorous 2N UPS and 2N standby power redundancy model. This robust electrical architecture allows the facility to support industry-leading power densities exceeding 25 kW per cabinet, making it a premier destination for high-performance computing and power-intensive enterprise applications.

CyberNAP offers a diverse array of "whitespace" configurations designed to accommodate a wide spectrum of client needs within its 300,000-square-foot footprint. From granular colocation options like partial cabinets and shared rackspace to large-scale wholesale solutions, the facility provides the flexibility required for modern enterprises. Customers can choose from individual full cabinets, secure cages, or entirely private suites, ensuring that every equipment footprint is tailored to specific operational and security requirements.

As a major carrier hotel, the facility serves as a vital point of interconnection with access to hundreds of carriers and service providers through its dedicated Meet Me Rooms (MMR). AiNET has leveraged its own fiber construction arm to directly link CyberNAP with core Northeast corridor fiber routes and area rings. This integration with AiNET’s proprietary DWDM (Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing) fiber network ensures high-speed, low-latency data transport and efficient global traffic exchange for all colocated clients.

Security at CyberNAP is structured into three concentric zones—Commercial (CSZ), Advanced (ASZ), and Ultra (USZ)—each offering escalating levels of protection. The CSZ utilizes biometric access and hardened physical measures, while the ASZ and USZ provide specialized staffing and infrastructure that exceed NIST SP 800 standards. For the most sensitive operations, the USZ is designed to meet and exceed stringent government requirements, including NISPOM, DoD 8500, and ICD 705.2/.3 for SCIF and DIACAP environments.
