LightSpeed operates a large-scale multi-tenant retrofitted data center, launched in 2016. The facility spans 63,000 square feet in total building size and includes 1,400 square feet of fully-built-out equipment whitespace. Rack capacity supports up to 10 kW of power per rack, with a power density rating of 14 kW per square foot. The site maintains a total energy capacity of 1 MW, supporting diverse colocation and cloud infrastructure workloads.

Engineered for high availability, LightSpeed’s data center is designed to meet Tier 3 infrastructure standards and operates at a PUE efficiency rating of 1.25. Backup power protection is delivered through an APC Symmetra UPS platform, while cooling relies on Liebert In-Row cooling units configured with N+1 redundancy. Continuous standby power is supplied through a Generac natural gas generator system, ensuring uninterrupted operations even during extended outages.

The facility maintains multi-layered security, including 24/7 CCTV surveillance, controlled card access entry, and automatic fire suppression systems. Clients also benefit from business-hour onsite security staff and dedicated onsite technical engineering support. To enhance customer operational convenience, LightSpeed offers a Meet-Me-Room (MMR), conference facilities, workspaces, breakroom areas, a secure loading bay, and 15 parking spots. Additional support resources include Crash Carts, loaner tools, WiFi access, and connectivity through two network service carriers, ensuring strong interconnection capabilities and operational flexibility.
