The facility is engineered for high density computing, supporting power solutions ranging from 1000 to 2500 watts per square meter. Operating on a 24x7x365 basis, the building features a 750mm raised floor system with a 4 meter clearance to the underside of the soffit, providing ample space for airflow and cabling. Logistics are streamlined through a secure managed delivery bay equipped with a dedicated goods lift to ensure the safe transit of hardware.

Utility power is delivered via two 132KV incomers providing a dual 84MVA capacity, ensuring a massive and stable energy supply. To mitigate the risk of downtime, the facility offers flexible N plus N or N plus 1 power configurations. This is bolstered by on site backup generators supported by comprehensive refueling contracts, guaranteeing that the facility remains operational during prolonged utility outages.

The cooling strategy utilizes a centrally managed primary infrastructure linked directly to the Building Management System. Environmental stability is maintained through room air conditioning units and rooftop air handling units that regulate humidity. The system prioritizes efficiency with free cooling options and direct expansion alternatives, while maintaining a minimum of N plus 1 redundancy across all cooling components.

Safety is managed through a sophisticated three stage detection system that covers all plant areas, including ceiling voids and the spaces beneath raised floors. Using very early smoke detection apparatus for high sensitivity alerts, the facility employs double interlocked pre action gas suppression to extinguish threats without damaging sensitive electronic equipment. All fire systems are fully integrated into the central Building Management System for real time monitoring.

Security is exceptionally rigorous, meeting SEAP 3 ratings and featuring a four meter secure perimeter fence equipped with trembler wire. The site is protected by a vehicle lock at the entrance, x ray scanners, and 24x7 on site personnel. Internal access is strictly governed by proximity cards and mantraps, while the entire perimeter and interior are monitored by extensive CCTV and intruder detection alarms.

As a carrier neutral hub, the facility provides access to a wide range of telecommunications providers including BT, Verizon, and Virgin Media. Network resilience is guaranteed through diverse cable routing into the building and through the raised floors directly to individual suites. The infrastructure includes two dedicated Meet Me Rooms and maintains a strict cable management policy to prevent interference and ensure scalability.

Operations are overseen by a dedicated in house 24x7 facilities management team that executes planned preventive maintenance programs. The facility’s commitment to excellence is validated by ISO 27001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 accreditations covering information security, environmental, and quality management. Clients can choose from various deployment scales including full or partial cabinets, cages, and custom suite footprints, all supported by Remote Hands technical assistance.
