Facility Design & Capacity
The two-floor facility features solid flooring, dedicated office space, and a fully built-out whitespace of 3,600 sq.m, accommodating an initial capacity of approximately 1,440 cabinets. Customers can select from various colocation options, including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rack space, and custom cages.
Power & Cooling Infrastructure
MA5’s power and cooling infrastructure is designed for maximum reliability. It opened with an initial power capacity of 6 MW and a UPS system configured in a 3+1 redundancy. Cooling is provided through air-cooled water chillers and CRAC units, also in a 3+1 setup, while standby power comes from 2.5 MVA diesel engines in 3+1 redundancy.
Security & Fire Protection
Security is multilayered, with mantrap entry, CCTV surveillance, and both biometric and card access control systems. On-site security staff are present 24/7, and the data center is equipped with a comprehensive sprinkler fire suppression system to ensure safety.
Connectivity & Interconnection
MA5 serves as a hub for network connectivity, hosting one Internet Exchange Point (IXP) and providing access to 16 peering networks. Its direct links to London campuses offer customers additional resiliency and low-latency connections across a wider ecosystem.
