Since 1999, Colt has built a strong reputation as a leading provider of flexible and scalable colocation solutions within the digital infrastructure sector. Its flagship European data center is strategically located on the northern edge of the City of London and reflects enterprise grade engineering. The facility spans a total building size of 25,143 m² and provides more than 12,000 m² of fully fitted whitespace across seven floors, supporting requirements ranging from single server deployments to large private enterprise suites.

The facility is designed to support high density workloads with a maximum site power capacity of 20 MVA. Power resilience is delivered through dual redundant 4 MVA 11 kV underground cable feeds connected to a dedicated transformer station. In the event of a grid failure, four 4.3 MVA diesel emergency generators automatically start in under one minute and are capable of supporting one hundred percent of the site load for up to twenty four hours.

Security is delivered through a comprehensive multi layered approach operating around the clock. Measures include on site professional security personnel, extensive video surveillance, and advanced alarm systems, with controlled client access available at all times. The facility also complies with globally recognized standards including ISO27001 for information security, ISO50001 for energy management, and SOC 1 Type II, ensuring strong governance and operational reliability.

To protect critical infrastructure, the data center utilizes precision cooling and environmental monitoring systems. Technical areas are positively pressurized to reduce dust ingress and support an average cooling capacity of 750 W per square meter. Temperatures are maintained below 26°C, while humidity is regulated at 50 percent relative humidity with a tolerance of ±20 percent. Fire protection is provided through automatic suppression systems to ensure a stable and secure operating environment.

Colt offers a broad range of physical and virtual infrastructure solutions tailored to diverse business requirements. Available options include private suites, dedicated rooms, secure cages, defined footprints, and individual racks. Customers can also take advantage of dedicated and virtual server platforms, supported by remote hands services for technical assistance. Dedicated office space is available on site, enabling close integration between infrastructure and operational teams.

Connectivity at the facility is extensive and resilient, supported by three independent fiber entry points and multiple redundant network paths, including transatlantic termination. The site functions as a major connectivity hub hosting more than forty peering networks and numerous Tier 1 carriers such as Lumen, BT, Vodafone, Verizon, and AT and T. This dense carrier ecosystem enables tenants to access a wide range of metro and global connectivity services with low latency and high performance.
