Infinity Romford North is situated in a highly sought after location to the east of London, specifically positioned within 30 fibre kilometers of the Docklands. This strategic placement offers exceptional access to the City of London and key east coast fibre routes extending to Europe. The facility boasts a substantial 11,000 m² total building size, with 10,000 m² dedicated exclusively to technical whitespace. Since becoming operational in 2009, this retrofitted site has been designed for flexibility, offering everything from individual racks and dedicated aisles to full data halls and bespoke suites. The whitespace is expandable, allowing the site to grow alongside the evolving demands of its diverse client base.

To support intensive computational loads, the site provides a fully built out power capacity of 40 MW. The environmental conditions are managed via a chilled water cooling system that utilizes “free cooling” techniques to enhance energy efficiency. Reliability is further bolstered by automatic standby generators, ensuring that the facility maintains continuous operation even during external power grid failures.

As a carrier neutral data centre, Infinity Romford North offers clients a vast choice of on site and nearby carriers. The facility is integrated into a multisite metro fibre ring, providing dark fibre access to major internet exchanges and gateways. Additionally, the site features a dedicated Meet Me Room and offers fast provision of Infinity bandwidth with transparent pricing to streamline network integration.

The data centre is designed to Tier 3 standards, emphasizing high availability and redundant components to prevent downtime. It holds the ISO IEC 27001:2005 accreditation, reflecting a commitment to international best practices in information security management. Security is a cornerstone of the Romford North facility, which is protected 24x7x365 by on site staff pre vetted to BS 7858 standards.
