Digital Woking is a premier data center located within a well-established trading estate to the south of London. Occupying a substantial 12-acre site, the facility offers an impressive 18,580 sq. m. (approx. 200,000 sq. ft.) of total building size. This expansive footprint allows for high-density technical operations alongside 60,000 sq. ft. of ancillary space, including dedicated offices, de-box rooms, and disaster recovery suites, providing a comprehensive ecosystem for enterprise-level IT requirements.

The facility is engineered for massive scale, boasting a fully built-out power capacity of 84 MW. To ensure maximum uptime and reliability for mission-critical data, the power architecture utilizes a 2N UPS redundancy model. This is further supported by a standby power system configured at N+1 redundancy, ensuring that the 5,575 sq. m. of whitespace remains operational even in the event of a primary grid failure.

To manage the thermal loads generated by high-density computing, Digital Woking employs a robust cooling infrastructure maintained at N+1 redundancy. The technical areas feature raised flooring, which facilitates efficient airflow and cable management. This environment is designed to accommodate various hardware configurations, ranging from full and partial cabinets to shared rackspace, bespoke cages, and large-scale suite footprints.

The data center serves as a highly connected hub, featuring a dedicated Meet-Me-Room (MMR) to facilitate seamless interconnections. Clients have access to 14 peering networks and 2 primary network providers, ensuring low-latency communication and diverse routing options. For convenience and modern workflow integration, the facility also provides building-wide WiFi to support staff and visiting technicians.

Digital Woking adheres to the most stringent international standards for management and security. The facility is fully compliant with DSS PCI and holds a suite of ISO certifications, including ISO 27001 (Information Security), ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental), and ISO 50001 (Energy Management). Furthermore, it maintains SOC 2 Type II and SOC 3 Type 2 certifications, providing third-party validation of its operational excellence.

Security is handled through a multi-layered "defense-in-depth" strategy. The perimeter is fully fenced and monitored by constant CCTV surveillance, while internal access is strictly governed by biometric and card access controls. The site is physically protected by 24/7 onsite security staff, ensuring that only authorized personnel can enter the technical or ancillary zones at any time.

To protect hardware from fire risks, the facility utilizes a double interlocked pre-action gas suppression system. Beyond technical safety, Digital Woking offers a range of professional amenities including conference rooms, breakrooms, and onsite loading bays. Technical support is always available via 24/7 onsite technical staff and "Remote Hands" services, while the 12-acre site provides ample onsite car parking for employees and clients.
