Strategically located at the north edge of Liverpool City Centre, directly opposite BT’s Lancaster House Exchange and in close proximity to Virgin Media and Vodafone’s data centres, this 6,800 sq. ft. colocation facility provides flexible hosting options. Operational since 2017, the site has been retrofitted to support modern colocation demands and is designed for both enterprise and community-driven applications.

The facility offers multiple configuration options ranging from 2U vertical racks to 48U deep server racks. Dedicated workshop-style colocation suites are also available for custom build requirements. It supports full cabinets, partial cabinets, and shared rackspace, ensuring flexibility for tenants. Designed as a sole-tenant, retrofitted building, it also provides roof access where required.

The site is equipped with a fully built-out power capacity of 1 MW, with a maximum power density of 3 kW per rack. Resiliency is ensured through N+1 redundancy across UPS systems, cooling, and standby power. This infrastructure enables consistent uptime and reliable performance.

While specific security and fire protection measures are not detailed, the facility is designed to industry best practices, incorporating robust operational resilience expected of colocation environments.

This facility benefits from its proximity to major telecom hubs including BT, Virgin Media, and Vodafone, ensuring low-latency, high-performance connectivity. It forms part of Baltic Broadband’s LCRDC initiative, which is expanding to deliver multiple small-scale edge and micro data centres across Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens, Halton, and the Wirral.

The site is built to Tier design principles but does not carry a specific Tier certification. It operates to professional colocation standards, with a strong focus on availability, resilience, and scalability.

As part of its growth strategy, Baltic Broadband is developing new-generation micro data centres to support 5G, media streaming, Internet of Things (IoT), driverless vehicles, drone deliveries, and other emerging technologies. Remote hands services are also available, providing operational support to customers as required.
