The Walled Garden is a purpose built sole tenant facility designed for maximum physical security and resilience. The site is enclosed by a formidable 3 meter high 400mm thick solid brick wall creating a secure perimeter for the internal infrastructure. Security is maintained through a combination of CCTV surveillance card access control and a fenced perimeter ensuring that the three on site Data Pods solar array and satellite ground services remain protected around the clock.

Power Capacity and Redundancy

With a fully built out power capacity of 8MW the facility is engineered for high density requirements supporting up to 10kW per rack. Power is delivered via redundant 11kVA feeds with a 2N+1 UPS redundancy model utilizing Riello MST 60 units. This robust electrical framework ensures that the facility maintains a highly efficient Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.2 balancing massive power availability with environmental consciousness.

Cooling and Environmental Systems

To maintain optimal operating temperatures for colocation hardware the facility employs an N+1 cooling redundancy strategy. The primary climate control is managed by Denco EP18 units which are specifically designed for data center environments. Furthermore the facility is equipped with an FM200 automatic fire suppression system providing a waterless solution to extinguish potential fires without damaging sensitive electronic equipment.

Network Connectivity and Redundancy

As a carrier neutral facility the Walled Garden offers clients a choice of four network providers or the proprietary ServerHouse IP. While the whitespace is expandable the current layout is optimized for high efficiency airflow and easy equipment maneuvering.
