The Bristol data center is housed within an expansive building totaling 8,400 sq.m., providing a robust physical footprint for mission critical operations. The facility features a dedicated fully built out whitespace of 2,040 sq.m., designed to accommodate various hardware configurations. Beyond the server halls, the site includes dedicated office space and ample on site parking, ensuring a functional environment for personnel who need to manage their infrastructure in person.

Engineered to support modern high density computing, the facility offers a total power capacity of 3.15 MW. Clients can utilize power densities of up to 7 kW per rack, suitable for a wide range of enterprise applications. The electrical architecture is built for maximum uptime, utilizing a Tier 3 design with independent A and B power feeds delivered to each cabinet to ensure continuous operation even during maintenance or component failure.

The data center maintains a highly efficient Power Usage Effectiveness of 1.29, reflecting nLighten’s commitment to sustainable operations. The cooling and humidity systems are designed to comply with the ASHRAE A1 allowable category, ensuring that hardware operates within optimal environmental parameters. To prevent downtime caused by thermal issues, the cooling system incorporates N plus 1 redundancy, providing a reliable safety net for the facility’s climate control.
