The data centre is housed within an original bank vault featuring 15 inch thick steel laced concrete walls and a 2 ton mechanical vault door. This physical fortification is enhanced by modern security protocols including 24/7 onsite security staff, biometric access control, CCTV surveillance, and multiple independent alarm systems, ensuring an exceptional level of protection against unauthorised entry.

Beyond standard digital protections, the facility delivers a specialized air gapped approach to data preservation. Dark Nebulae provides completely offline backup solutions where encrypted data is stored in physical 5 ton safes. By removing data from the network entirely, this service delivers a powerful defence against ransomware and catastrophic system failures.
