The Ukrnames data center, operational since 2012, is a Tier 2 facility with a retrofitted construction. It offers various colocation options, including full cabinets, partial cabinets, shared rackspace, and suites. The data center's design allows for a maximum power density of 4 kW per square meter and has the ability to expand its whitespace. Additionally, it provides a remote hands service for its clients.
Power and Cooling
To ensure reliability, the data center has two redundant electrical connections with a maximum power of more than 100 kW. A diesel generator with an automatic start provides backup power. The cooling system has an N+1 redundancy to prevent overheating and maintain optimal operating temperatures.
Connectivity
Ukrnames DC boasts robust connectivity with 5 or more independent optical links to Tier I and Tier II Internet service providers. It maintains peering with local Ukrainian ISPs such as Triolan and MaxNet. The facility is also present at several internet exchanges, both domestic and foreign, including KH-IX, UA-IX, GigaNet, Dtel-IX, Cloud-IX, MSK-IX, SPB-IX, AMS-IX, DE-CIX, and LinX.
Security and Support
The data center prioritizes security with a clock security system, biometric access control to the engine room, and 24/7 onsite security staff. The premises are also monitored by CCTV surveillance. For technical assistance, the facility offers 24/7 extremely skilled technical support.
