It has been strategically designed and equipped in collaboration with global industry leaders, SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC and APL France, ensuring a foundation of high efficiency and security.
Security and Compliance Standards
The facility's construction and equipment were executed in strict adherence to TIER 3+ international standards, which DataXion proudly meets. Further underscoring its commitment to data protection, the center is ISO 27001 Certified and employs a robust 24/7 onsite security staff with CCTV surveillance. Fire safety is guaranteed by an automatic fire extinguishing system with IG55 inert gas. Tunisia's commitment to data privacy, being a member of the Convention 108 and scheduled for GDPR certification in May 2018, adds a layer of regulatory assurance.

The purpose-built facility sits on a 10,000 m² plot at 65 m altitude, with 1200 m² of IT rooms organized into four 300 m² sections. It has a Fully Built-Out Power of 1 MW and an IT power generation capacity of 1,600 kW. To guarantee high availability, DataXion utilizes a high level of redundancy for its critical systems, specifically 2N redundancy for UPS, Cooling, and Standby Power systems, meeting the requirements of a Tier 3 certified design.

DataXion is a neutral and multi-telecom operator datacenter, offering clients choice and flexibility. Its international reach is secured through submarine cables linking Tunisia to Europe. A key partnership with the Interxion Marseille datacenter allows for “double sites” services, enhancing disaster recovery options.
