EveryWare has maintained and operated its own secure, high-performance data centers for over 25 years. These facilities, totaling over 3,000 m² of area, are strategically located at two sites in the greater Zurich area. They operate several thousand servers with highly available network connections for public and private networks. EveryWare's demanding clientele, primarily from the banking and insurance, healthcare, and media sectors, benefit from comprehensive consulting, cutting-edge infrastructure, tailored fiber connections, and an overall ecological approach.

The facilities offer Tier 3 level infrastructure and are divided into different customer zones including rack, private cage, and private room options. Private rooms feature separate fire protection, air conditioning, and electricity concepts. The total area of over 3,000 m² is segmented to ensure high electricity capacities can be allocated per customer area, independent of consumption in other zones. A bright, beautiful office area is also available.

Customers benefit from comprehensive advice and state-of-the-art infrastructure. The data centers support redundant synchronous mirroring. EveryWare provides tailor-made fiber connections and an overall ecological concept. 24x7h Monitoring is conducted by the EveryWare Operations Center and Network Operation Center (NOC).

Power reliability is ensured through a redundancy of power supply including a diesel generator and two separate UPS circuits, fed by two transformers from two EW substations. Power density is High-density 2-5 kW/m². Cooling efficiency is maximized using the free cooling principle, an optimized air flow, and customer-specific rack layout, achieving a Power Usage Efficiency (PUE) well below the European benchmark. The cooling system includes Redundant (N+1) air conditioners and two recooling circuits, with warm-cold-course enclosure and case-specific air flow.

EveryWare's infrastructure meets the Tier 3 level. It applies FINMA requirements for bank outsourcing (RS 2018/3). The facilities hold ISO 27001 certification for information security and ISAE 3000 Type 2 certification for quality assurance, specifically covering the private cage and private room areas.

Maximum burglary safety is maintained with access via isolation system (biometric) or material lock. Security features include 24x7h video and laser monitoring, and guarding. Comprehensive fire protection measures are in place, including multiple fire detection systems (including early fire detection with laser) and Gas-assisted fire extinguishing (Inergen). Redundant air conditioning is also provided. The facilities are managed with 24/7 operation by the EveryWare Operations Center/NOC.

The network boasts 5-fold redundant introduction of five carriers with separate pipe and route, ensuring full redundancy of all nodes and routes. EveryWare operates own dark fiber infrastructure for island operation and emergency scenarios, and own glass fibers with five separate routes. The data centers are fully redundantly connected in the EveryWare ring (2×200 GB Ethernet, 32 GB Fiber Channel). Connectivity includes multiple redundant Internet access (>1 Gbps) and transit and peering with Tier 1 and -2 carriers. This ensures low latency for fast response times and real-time processing.
