Arctic Site 1 is defined by its prime geographical positioning, which leverages the cold northern climate to provide natural, efficient cooling for data hardware. This location was specifically selected as a low risk area that combines physical safety with high accessibility. Beyond the climate, the site benefits from an exceptional power grid, offering 100 percent renewable hydropower. Because of the region’s massive surplus of clean energy, the facility can provide electricity at some of the most competitive prices globally, making it an ideal hub for sustainable and cost effective data operations.

Designed with a focus on high availability, Arctic Site 1 consists of two data centers equipped with identical, advanced shell protection to ensure uniform security standards. The technical design is specifically optimized to handle the intensive demands of High Performance Computing, traditional colocation, and massive data storage. By placing a premium on a safe and efficient environment, the facility ensures that mission critical hardware remains operational under the most demanding workloads, supported by secure communication lines and a robust, redundant power supply.

Arctic Site 2 serves as a high security counterpart, built originally as a secret military facility to provide the highest possible level of physical and electronic protection. It features EMP protection, making it an elite choice for organizations requiring extreme data resilience. Located at a strategic distance from Arctic Site 1 to function as a twin site solution, it provides geographical redundancy. This site is uniquely prepared for disaster recovery, even offering dedicated physical workplaces that staff can use in the event of serious external incidents.

The facility boasts a fully built out power capacity of 4.5 MW and spans 3,250 square meters of whitespace, with the potential for further expansion. It is a purpose built construction managed by twenty four seven onsite security staff and offers comprehensive Remote Hands support for technical maintenance. To ensure international standards of quality and safety, the site maintains multiple certifications, including ISO27001 for information security, ISO9001 for quality management, and ISO14001 for environmental management.
