Adam Data Center

This data center, strategically located in the Parc Tecnològic del Vallès near the Parc de l'Alba-Sincotró—a key economic and social development project for Catalonia, Spain, and Southern Europe—is a TIER III compliant facility offering high-specification colocation services.

The facility features a total area of 3,600m², split evenly with 1,800m² on the Ground Floor and 1,800m² on the First Floor. It is designed to accommodate a high density of IT equipment. The total rack capacity is substantial: the ground floor houses up to 22 Adam Databoxes, each containing 8 racks (47U), while the first floor provides space for up to 765 standard 47U racks. Individual racks are sized at 600 x 1,200 x 47U and support significant power requirements, up to 64 A per rack, available in both single and three-phase configurations.

The data center is engineered for high availability, complying with TIER III standards. The Total Power capacity is planned in two phases: 2MW in Phase 1 and 4MW in Phase 2. The Power System incorporates full redundancy, featuring A+B lines per rack, A+B UPS systems, and A+B Generators, all supported by a modular electrical distribution network. The advanced Cooling System is high-efficiency N+1 redundant and utilizes modern cooling techniques, including a Cold Corridor, Heat Recovery, and Free Cooling to maximize energy efficiency.

The facility demonstrates a strong commitment to industry standards and operational excellence. It is fully TIER III compliant for design and operation, ensuring high levels of availability and concurrent maintainability. Furthermore, the data center holds essential international certifications: ISO 27001 Certified (Information Security Management), ISO 9001 Certified (Quality Management), and ISO 22301 Certified (Business Continuity Management). The Fire Extinguishing system is robust, employing 3M Novec 1230 Based Data Center Fire Suppression and high sensitivity smoke detection.

The data center provides a variety of flexible colocation options to meet diverse customer needs, including Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and custom Suites Footprints. Essential operational support is ensured through Remote Hands services. The facility's total dedicated technical space (Fully Built-Out Whitespace) is 3,000 sq.m., with a Fully Built-Out Power capacity of 4 MW.

Security is comprehensive and managed 24/7. Access is strictly controlled using a Biometric access control system. The infrastructure is monitored by a CCTV system, supplemented by an Indoor & perimeter alarm system. The physical security is supported by 24x7 security staff.

The data center is designed as a carrier-neutral facility, promoting diverse and resilient connectivity. It features a dedicated Meet-Me-Room (MMR) to facilitate interconnections. The facility has access to a variety of Peering networks and supports connectivity from 3 Network providers, allowing customers choice and redundancy for their network services.
