The datacenter is located outside Barcelona city, established in 2007 as their last facility. It is housed within a specific building that offers direct connectivity to all telecommunications operators. The facility is 300m2 in size.
Environmental Controls
The datacenter employs a new cooling system based on APC's Infrastruxture with InRows between racks. For fire safety, it utilizes Automatic fire suppression and includes an Aircondition system to maintain optimal operating conditions.
Power Infrastructure
Power is highly redundant, featuring a double power line connected to double UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems. A Generator set is also available, whose operation only depends on the setting of gasoil, ensuring sustained power in the event of an outage.
Security Measures
The facility offers comprehensive security and access features, including 24/7 access, 24/7 staff on site, and 24/7 security guard(s). It is protected by an Alarm system and Video surveillance. For customer convenience, there is easy access by car between Ronda Litoral and Gran Vía, and both general and private parking is available for customers.
Network Connectivity
Connectivity is redundant, multicarrier, and uses the BGP4 protocol. The facility connects to carriers via Optical fiber. Additionally, Nexica provides a Wimax lan for customer connectivity, alongside traditional ADSL, SDSL, and ISDN lans.
Colocation Services
The datacenter offers a variety of services, including the Rental of racks, Hosting of individual servers, Dedicated servers, and Virtual servers. Remote hands are also available to assist customers. The facility also provides Office space for use.
