Equinix's SL3x is a new hyperscale (xScale) data center located in Seoul, South Korea, built adjacent to the SL2x site. Scheduled to open in 2024, this facility is designed to provide a total of 5,009 square meters of fully built-out whitespace.
Services Offered
The data center provides a wide range of colocation and support services to meet various deployment needs. These include colocation options for Full Cabinets, Partial Cabinets, Shared Rackspace, Cages, and Suites. To support client operations, the site also offers Remote Hands assistance and a variety of on-site amenities, including a Conference Room, Breakroom, Office Space, Crash Carts, Loaner Tools, and WiFi.
Power and Cooling Infrastructure
The facility is engineered for high-density, mission-critical workloads, with a fully built-out power capacity of 24 MW. It features a highly resilient infrastructure with an N+1 UPS redundancy, N+2 cooling redundancy, and N+1 standby power redundancy. For safety, the data center is protected by an automatic fire suppression system that uses a Nitrogen gas suppression system.
