The design includes a 55 cm high floor, which houses local redundant cabling and floor cooling systems to maintain an optimal temperature for all equipment, which is located in 42U racks. The facility features internal redundant fiber optic cables and connects users to all international Internet links available in the country.
Power and Redundancy
The facility guarantees redundancy across all critical systems, including UPS equipment, air conditioning, and network wiring. The power system is secured with 2+1 redundancy using MGE Galaxy 5000 100kVA UPS units. In the event of a power cut, a 400 kVA Caterpillar diesel generator starts automatically, ensuring an uninterruptible power supply and a minimal possibility of failure.
Security and Access Control
The data center employs a highly sophisticated, multi-layered security system operating 24/7/365. There is no public access to the facility; entry is strictly controlled by proximity cards, access codes, and a "Man Trap" security portal to ensure only authorized personnel can enter. The entire facility is under constant supervision with a 24/7 video surveillance system, full-motion cameras, 6 APC NetBotz cameras, and an intrusion detection alarm. All access is electronically recorded, and every server rack is locked.
Fire Suppression System
The data center is protected by a two-zone fire system designed to protect equipment. It utilizes an FM200 fire alarm system, which uses a harmless gas rather than water to extinguish fires. This primary system is supported by photoelectric smoke detectors for early warning and secondary heat warning systems. The system is designed to prevent false activation and includes a double-dry-tube, pre-action system specific to particular zones, ensuring that water is kept outside the critical equipment area.
