UGNI Data Center

The data center offers flexible telehousing services within a 200 m2 system hall. Clients can lease full (42U), half (21U), or one-third (13U) racks, as well as secure cages (Boxes) enclosed by aluminum walls. These cages can be customized with dedicated biometric entrance control and IP video surveillance. The facility itself is built atop an atomic shelter, providing a 4.5-meter ceiling height and an antistatic floor (no double floor) capable of supporting a load of 3 tons per m2.

A comprehensive ceiling-based cable system routes all cabling throughout the building, dropping vertically into the rack lockers. All cables—which include halogen-free, Cat 6, and single-mode fiber optic—are fully protected. The facility provides connectivity to all major Serbian ISPs, featuring redundant connections with both Telekom Srbija and SBB that use separate building entries and diverse network paths. An optional wireless backup line (up to 10Mb/s) is also available.

The facility is protected by 24/7 professional physical security, with entrance control managed through a Biometry and Identix V70 system. The site features an Intelex video surveillance system, an alarm system, and all events are permanently recorded. Remote IP surveillance of both access control and video feeds is possible. Clients have 24/7 access to their devices without needing prior announcement. The object possesses all necessary security permits and certificates.

The main power supply is direct, redundant, and sourced from two diverse suppliers, providing a total capacity of 360KW. The entire facility and all rack closets feature a complete grounding circuit. To ensure continuous operation, the data center is equipped with a 2x(N+1) redundant UPS system (two APC Symmetra units), each providing 80 kW of power for an autonomy of 15 minutes. This UPS system is subject to a regular maintenance and testing plan.

For extended power outages, the data center relies on a 550 kVA Caterpillar generator. This aggregate can operate for 24 hours without intervention and allows for refueling without interrupting its work. It has a rapid 10-second stabilization and switch-on time and maintains a 1/3 power ratio relative to the UPS. A formal maintenance and testing plan is also in place for the generator.

The system hall is equipped with a modern, redundant air-conditioning system with a cooling capacity of 450,000 Btu. This system maintains a stable working temperature of 22°C, a target it can sustain even while operating at only half of its total capacity. The facility is also protected by humidity sensors, fire detectors, a fire protection system, and fire extinguishers. The building is designed to prevent water entry and holds all required certificates from the firefighting police.
